While the P2P market continues to grow, many operators are having major difficulties working in tandem with the new Windows Vista operating system, where security has been increased and a number of new elements added.  The Ares system, for years the main player in the P2P market, has seen a number of upgrades and improvements over recent times and while they can all be traced back to the original Ares Galaxy (released in 2002), there have been some vast improvements of late.

The Ares Vista P2P filesharing program is the most recent release from the Ares stable and is the only version which actually works side by side with Windows Vista, taking full advantage of improvements in the new operating system.  For any P2P system to be accepted in the market place, there needs to be the security and confidence which Ares Vista brings to the sector.

When you consider that the Ares system offers super fast downloads, multi-source sharing, a built in chat room and the largest network of users available on the internet, is there really any other option for your P2P site?

The P2P sector has shown massive growth over the last decade and there are millions of users sharing files on a regular basis.  The Ares system has managed to retain its place in the upper echelons of the industry, and the new Ares Vista release should further strengthen their position.

The system requirements to use Ares Vista are fairly basic and include :-

  • Windows 95/98/2000/XP/Vista
  • 128 MB of RAM
  • Internet connection, preferably broadband
